In the crowded world of entertainment Cree Davis stands out as a contemporary “triple threat.” She is a versatile actress, a talented singer and an agile dancer who has been sharpening her skills since she was a little girl growing up in Alabama.
Cree recently made her television mini-series debut in Jesse Collin’s and BET Network’s THE BOBBY BROWN STORY. Airing on September 4, THE BOBBY BROWN STORY dove into the life story of legendary R&B singer Bobby Brown.
Cree joined the cast to bring to life the rarely told story of the intense relationship between Brown and the iconic Janet Jackson.
Cree’s acting credits include co-starring in Fox’s TV Series SHOTS FIRED starring Sanaa Lathan, starring in THE SOCIETY and LIFE UNSCRIPTED. EMPIRE, The PAPERBOY and THE BUTLER. She also appeared on OWN network’s GREENLEAF. As a national brand commercial model Cree has represented Publix, Regal Cinemas, Home Depot, Verizon, Comcast and others.
As a singer songwriter, this talented Atlanta transplant was so inspired by the film, THE BOBBY BROWN STORY, that she crafted a response to Bobby Brown’s chart topping “TENDERONI.” Her song, “ONLY GIRL,” is the female response to the song.
Cree is currently compiling songs for “LOVE LEVELS,” an album whose early release of “LIKE YOU” is an ode to love on all levels. It’s a sensual song that leaves you hopeful and in love.
The music video for “LIKE YOU” showcases Cree’s dance skills as she extends and twirls on rich, red silk while floating mid-air, reminiscent of Cirque de Soleil.
