Youth Challenge, Inc. Hosts S.T.E.A.M Event On August 30;

Actress Cree Davis Hosts

 

Bringing the Positivity! Coming Through With Light!

Cree is helping Atlanta area youth DREAM OUT LOUD. In conjunction with the Mayor’s Office of Film and Entertainment, Disturbing tha Peace and other sponsors, Cree will bring her positivity and energy to the event that introduces over 600 area youth to careers in science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM). Panelist include Chaka, Ludacris and Michael B. Jordon.

 

The title sponsor for the event is Toyota Motor North America. Chick-fil-A is on-board as a Platinum Sponsor. According to Cree, “This event creates a unique experience that exposes Atlanta Public School and Atlanta University Center students to inventors, leaders in science, technology, the arts and manufacturing fields. Our goal is that these connections will encourage young people to become passionate about participating in S.T.E.A.M. activities and understanding its importance to helping create the future they desire.”

Cree, who attended Alabama State University and completed her studies in Business Administration at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA,enjoys giving to others, sharing her talents and traveling the world. Cree uses her talent to create a platform to help improve communities and encourage people tolove on all levels and dream big.

 

Cree co-starred in Fox’s TV Series SHOTS FIRED starring Sanaa Lathan and starred in THE SOCIETY and LIFE UNSCRIPTED. Her credits also include appearing on OWN network’s GREENLEAF.

 

Giving back and encouraging others is key to who Cree Davis is. She has worked hard to better herself and knows first-hand, the power of having a dream. She dreamed of one day writing and recording her own songs-well she has; and she dreamed of acting on television and film-well she has; she dreamed of speaking to the world and encouraging those who need encouragement-well she has. She has provided motivation and inspiration to kids in prison, those impacted by crime including domestic violence – bringing hope into the darkness.
